Everyone needs a nonna

My neighbour was one of my greatest food influences. As a child, I was transfixed, watching her make fettucine. She would give me some; I'd run home and my mum would cook it. I remember how gloriously egg-y it tasted; they raised laying hens too.
Her pasta was the BEST.


Pasta. Dumplings. Bread. Preserves and passata. Food made with love.


Orechiette con broccoli is my favourite pasta dish; the pasta is hand-made, but I buy it now!
