Food safety, especially for children

Robyn 0'Brien shares her story; one of her children had a dangerous allergic reaction to a "typical" breakfast. Her mission to unearth the cause revealed more about the food industry than she could stomach.
Young parents turn to fresh food to avoid the chemicals, additives or GM present in processed food. Many also turn towards chemical-free or organic. Knowing who produced your food and how, means for them, greater trust and health benefits.

Such a fantastic talk! And I like the fact that it addresses issues around the whole value chain- from patents on engineered seeds to business models to cancer to health insurance and productivity.

Wow, what a powerful talk! And so well researched. I think that having the data to uncover hidden costs is very convincing. Thanks for sharing this, it is highly inspirational.
By the way, can you link this to Sarah's inspiration Is local food that expensive? - see: http://3bl.me/6n6n7x
Both are related, and it is valuable to see that connection.
