Baby Center Fetus Updates

Expectant parents can sign up for weekly emails from http://babycenter.com that explain your baby's development for that week and shows a picture of relative size.
To build on the "Your fetus just texted you" inspiration, I just wanted to show what babycenter.com already does that is similar. It lets you know what is happening on a weekly basis as well as what you can expect to happen that week. This is one way to educate expectant mothers with mobile technology.

When my wife was pregnant, she LOVED these emails. She liked knowing what was happening and what she could expect. She also felt comforted by learning that she was normal when feeling sick or restless etc.

For this challenge we would want emails/texts to give more medical/nutritional info to the mothers, and advice for complications that may arise.

During my years as an obstetrician I always had a combined consultation with the mother-to-be and her partner. This is such a great idea to provide continuous support and reassurance for both of them.

Thanks Ian – and it's so brilliant to get some customer insight on a service like this!

This certainly does add more color Ian. Really shows how these updates can be fun and interesting for mothers (and fathers too!).
