"My happy life as a vegetable"
Danish documentary about a man with ALS.
Birger, who has the disease ALS, has become paralyzed. He breaths through a respirator and can only communicate with his eyes. However, he says, that he is as happy as ever. Very inspirational!
"I once thought that happiness meant to be able to move from one place to another. But life tought me something important about happiness. So believe me when I say, sitting here paralyzed from head to toe, that I lead a happy life, even happier than when I was well"
