How might we design an accessible election experience for everyone? read the brief

Contribution

The Smithsonian's Machinery of Democracy

It would be interesting to experience a curated history (in a museum or open space of sorts) highlighting the development of the election process in the US and the various processes around the world.
Part of that has apparently already been done by the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.

Thanks Sasha for the link. I started looking at the online exhibition and it's really informative. I agree that an understanding of the evolution of the voting process, practices and artifacts / tools (in the US and in other countries) might be very useful and inspiring.

Agreed, this is great for understanding the evolution history of voting, before we design new solutions.
