Interesting thoughts Prita – looking forward to hearing more on this in the upcoming Concepting phase. Make sure you post it again there too – and meanwhile you might like to check out the Feed Your Idea section in this post as a way to think about how you might build on this with even more relevant inspiration: Hoping to see more of you on OpenIDEO!

Social media is powerful. I've noticed that a lot of election departments are using Twitter for announcements.

How else can we use YouTube, Twitter and other social media?

Perhaps we can create mock elections during certain debates where one needs to tweet their votes or opinions? We can also essentially monitor the debate with our own opinions and believes through comments if YouTube does a live stream!
