Webinar: Reimagining Learning, During COVID-19 and Beyond

We hosted an interactive conversation with students, educators, and learning experts, and share insights and questions surfaced from the Reimagine Learning Challenge.

In collaboration with a group of partners working in the education space, IDEO launched the COVID-19 Reimagine Learning Challenge, an open call to a global community to answer the question: How might we help educators, parents, and students adapt to remote learning while also using this moment to radically reimagine what we need our education systems to be? Hundreds of creative ideas were submitted from around the globe from those who are striving to reshape schools and learning post-COVID.

As our team strives to continue to advance justice globally, it remains clear that spaces of learning are also spaces for engaging in restorative dialogues. In that spirit, we hosted a webinar in June 2020 to hold space for an interactive conversation with students, educators, and learning experts, and share insights and questions surfaced from the Challenge.

Drawing from their experience in learning and teaching, the panelists offered wisdom on topics such as the role of families in serving as education allies, radical inclusion in this time of crisis, and what it takes to catalyze real-world learning—to ultimately lead us to a future that is more vibrant, equitable, and engaging for every student.
