We're multi-tasking this week – across two exciting challenges and a number of other updates! The Vibrant Cities Challenge is charging ahead and has been attracting large numbers of diverse insights from social impact inducing street art to cycling + job creation. We're especially excited to note collaborators getting out and about in their own communities via our Get Active mission.

Do check out this month's Featured Ideator: Charlotte Fliegner from Melbourne, Australia. Charlotte will also be co-facilitating our freshly launched Vibrant Cities Supporting Resources Forum – so join her there to share links and info which will feed the main conversations over on the challenge.

Over on the Amnesty Challenge, we're focusing ideas as we join together on the Refinement Phase. Sixteen stellar concepts have been selected by our expert panel and will be further assessed based on evaluation criteria which have now been shared. Join in conversations to help iterate these ideas to support human rights. Refinement is a phase which everyone can participate in to strengthen concepts and improve potential impact.

OpenIDEO has been featured in the AIGA Make the Case awards which honors case studies demonstrating value in design. We'd like to think that we're making a case for collaborative innovation – and couldn't have done it without the energy and enthusiasm of our entire community!
