New Years Greetings from Australian OpenIDEATOR: Charlotte Fliegner

It's been a fast & furious, collaborative week! We've just switched from a quick-fire round of refinement on the Vibrant Cities Challenge to our Evaluation phase. Now it's time to put your appraisal caps on and weigh in to assess our shortlisted concepts for impact, feasibility & scalability. Spread the word and help OpenIDEO + Steelcase select the challenge winners! Meanwhile – we look forward to ongoing discussion on ideas and news of anyone who is prepared to step up to try prototyping their ideas. We've seen some stellar examples of our community doing this in the past & are sure that some of you are keen to try out stuff from this challenge.
 
Folks continue to revel in the promise of a new year and all that it might hold. We were particularly excited to get inspiring wishes via Charlotte Fliegner from Melbourne. Check out the backstory of our This Inspires initiative which we set up for the Local Food Challenge workshops. 

And as we cast our minds forward to the year ahead – let's revisit How to Make Things Happen – a motivating post by our OpenIDEO collaborator: FlavourCrusader. We hope you'll be joining in to make 2012 an impactful year for social good!
