The student-led My Vibrant Campus Challenge launches at NYU Poly!

It's another busy week at OpenIDEO as our Voting Challenge Inspiration phase sprints towards Concepting. We've been excited to hear your personal voting stories and insights since this first phase is all about learning about the issues and developing empathy for people whose election access has been limited due to disability, language, or location. Be sure to add your voice to the mix and help us learn all we can before Concepting starts next week. We also recently caught up with our challenge sponsor to find out why elections need our innovative thinking now more than ever.

Since our Amnesty Challenge wrapped up last December, we've been busy thinking about how to carry your terrific concepts into Realisation. We're taking one step closer to impact this week as we join our friends at IDEO London for the first-ever Make-a-thon! Check out the details, then head over to our User Forums to share your insights with Make-a-thon attendees who'll be working on some of the Amnesty Challenge winning concepts. And be sure to follow the two-day event using the Twitter hashtag #ideomake and on our Facebook wall.

And last but definitely not least: we're always eager to hear about students who bring OpenIDEO to campus. Inspired by our Vibrant Cities Challenge, two university champs from NYU Poly in New York have recently created their own platform to address on-campus vibrancy issues. Check it out – and be sure to let us know about your efforts to bring OpenIDEO to your school! After all, what could be more fun than bringing your friends and classmates along for our collaborative ride?
