OpenIDEO Currents 18

New Zealand's Claudia Keys rocks the house as our youngest OpenIDEATOR to date. All heart and in full colour!

Transitioning times this week on OpenIDEO as all three of our challenges on social good switch phases. First up our Local Food Challenge has moved from its record breaking inspiration rate to the Concepting Phase. There was such a wild out-pouring of insights with one of the highlights coming from our youngest OpenIDEATOR – at 6 years old she had a great take on why Farmers Markets rock. Now come and wow us with your fresh ideas on re-imagining the future of food.

The Maternal Health Challenge Shortlist finalists have been immersed in refining their concepts. One dynamic duo even made a fab video to clarify their ideas. Now it's Evaluation time! Join us to help rate these 20 exceptional concepts.

The Bone Marrow Donation Challenge is about to switch from its lively Concepting Phase into Evaluation. We're busy creating the shortlist which will be hard task given the commendable calibre of submissions. Soon you'll get to join us to select those which could impact best to beat cancer.

And if you didn't catch up on the retraction of our April Fools joke – no, we weren't really approached to feature on the Simpsons. But maybe there's a way that they could help us fight the good fight against cancer?
