OpenIDEO in the house – the White House!
It's been an action packed week for the OpenIDEO team. Our colleague and co-founder Nathan Waterhouse journeyed to the White House to present your Innovation Challenge Agenda Concepts to the global innovation leaders at the i20 summit. Findings from the challenge helped to identify priorities and directions at the event which serves as a forum for discussion of innovation on a global scale. Attendees were enthusiastic about all the insightful inspirations and concepts our community had come up with. Check out the presentation to get more of an idea of what was shared with them. (Nathan's a busy boy this month and is also speaking about OpenIDEO at Compostmodern this weekend.)
We're excited to launch the new interactive Collaborative Map feature. This is something we've been working on for some time to demonstrate the inter-connectedness and growth of ideas through collaboration on OpenIDEO.You can access the map from the prominent button in the left sidebar on challenge pages below the Inspiration tab. You can also view a map of how your own individual inspirations and concepts are connected with others by clicking the map button in the right sidebar of your submissions. Try it out and let us know what you think.
The Sanitation Challenge winners are very soon to be announced. We've had an incredible range of concepts built on multiple inspirations from around the globe. And last but certainly not least – we have a brand new challenge coming up next week!
