Changing Hands

A modular logo that constantly changes, featuring many different hand-drawn type styles.
Using many different styles of hand-drawn type speaks to collaboration and the variety of different personalities that contribute to the projects. (Unfinished, casual and human on the left; precise and refined on the right.)

Martin - while I like the idea, I personally have issues with light colored type in the readability arena, so I share a few thoughts generated from your concept. 1. Can't draw, so leave this with you...

O - circular, a wheel,
Pen - a writing instrument
I - eyeball (vision)
DEO - no clue - but links the circular start of the O

Wondered if drawings / icons should be looked at given pictures an international language. More of a sign (language) vs. alpha-lingo.

That all said, like your idea but would take care re the colors used in font. Very hard to read screened back colors, esp Yellow on White.

The idea about using different styles is obvious and great - the problem is, that the different logoes are done by the same person and by the same stroke and technique (handdrawn vector) etc - which doesn't express the announced variation. Make this variation by using different people to draw new "open"s.

I love the one on the bottom right - the proportions and the way it goes down at a slight angle are great. Would be cool to see some more versions of the rough handwritten ones.
