Constructed Wetlands for Wastewater Treatment

Constructed wetlands can be an effective natural method for wastewater treatment. Constructed wetlands can offer an affordable solution to wastewater for sites with a warm climate, high water table, high organic matter/suspended solids in wastewater and enough unshaded area. The most effective applications of this method seem to be when employed on many small-scale sites, rather than over a large area.
