I have long believed in organic and locally grown produce/ food. Having moved from the US to Malaysia drove me to change and refine how I eat ( big change of vegetation ), and I discovered a new way of eating. The organic store I shop in receive their produce shipment directly from farms 3 times a week and the veg were just pulled out 2 days before. You get what the farmers harvested and only harvest choices. That it. And because these are organic farmers they have to practice rotational planting and what's good for the soil. there is not much of a choice and it has stopped being what I felt like eating. So I started creating recipes or looking for recipes only utilizing the produce obtained that day. Wouldnt it be great to have mobile apps that are fully aligned with farmers harvest and delivered recipes based on harvested produce or meat to customers who signed up to support those local farmers? That will be true alignment to the earth!
