Puzzle Piece Parks
What’s wrong with many struggling cities around the world? Winter. That all too long time of year when outdoor activity-craving people get cooped-up inside and condemned to stationary exercise in stuffy indoor gyms.

Giving local leaders the tools and resources necessary to turn high traffic areas like bus depots, markets into spaces for discourse, discussion and expression will strength local communities and civil societies. Physical space influences and is influenced by the characteristics of its inhabitants. In struggling cities all over the world, this physical space can make room for communal interaction, facilitating stronger civil societies who in turn make their city a better place. These mobile town hall spaces will:
1. help define specific issues faced by the community
2. centralize the voice of the community, streamline communication between the community, governments and other local stakeholders (business, industry)
3. position the community to help develop and effectively roll out action plans
A centralized command post for mobile town halls all over the world can provide support and resources.

A contest could be conducted among the people who live in the community to see who can decorate their houses the best way. It's better to make them use what they have with them or explore and find in the area. I'm sure this would instill creativity!

In India crafts are next to agriculture in terms of revenue generation. But the living conditions of craftspeople are still below the standard. We are aware that without facilities, creativity suffers. Each village of India is like a library of crafts. We need to protect this huge amount of skill and knowledge from crumbling under the demands of commercialization and mechanization. If each village is declared as ‘a creative hub’ of India with the help of Tourism Department then each village can flourish on the basis of the exposure they will get from Tourists.
