Boulevards in the middle of San Jose, Costa Rica have made a great difference

Downtown area in San Jose, Costa Rica, has been renewed with the addition of two large boulevards.
San Jose, Costa Rica as a city, has little to offer in a country known for eco-diversity, green everywhere, incredible beaches and forests. Year after year businesses have left the capital city to either the East of West suburbs. Suddenly, the old and new boulevards have added something to do in the city.
I'm teaching a group of Innovation Facilitators and as part of the crowdsourcing portion of the course they studied the openideo web site and came with this and other ideas that I will add to this portion of the challenge.

Hi Edwin, interesting post! Any chance you could find an image to go along with it? Images help grab attention and tell a story with higher impact. We know occasionally people have issues uploading images so let us know if you face any problems. You should be able to use the 'Update entry' button on the right of your post and follow the instructions to add images from there. Looking forward to seeing more of your inspiring ideas on OpenIDEO.
