With some digital overlay buildings are transformed into amazing works of art.

Utilizing the architecture still standing within a city on decline will be an important focus. It will be interesting to see how they could be repurposed and used in unique ways.

Coming weekend there's an event here in Riga, Latvia called Staro Riga, which has to do with lights. Last year, there were some installations that indeed did this. I will take some pictures and share them as inspiration, too. I think it is a good way to promote a city, create some vibrancy and give artists a place to show their work.

I love this idea, however it doesn't even need to be anything this dramatic. What if the projected image was how the buildings COULD look if renovated and revitalized? Maybe the building has new windows, fresh paint and some landscaping? People could see how different the neighborhood could be with very minor changes.
