Celebrations at Motor City Pride

LGBT community celebrated Motor City Pride at Detroit Plaza. Hundreds of Gay and Lesbian gathered on this hot summer day to share their joy and participate in human right campaign. Pride festivals are revitalizing our cities.
LGBT community celebrated 2011 Motor City Pride festival at Detroit Plaza. Colorful people of all ethnicity, religion and age came out to the city plaza for some fun and food. Hundreds of Gay and Lesbian gathered on this hot Michigan summer day to share their pride and participate in the human right campaign. They hugged and kissed their loving partners and they walked from booth to booth shopping for rainbow color flags and chotchkes. Detroit Plaza was the most colorful and vibrant on this weekend. Loud music and drag queens with their fabulous dresses on stage made everyone dance with joy. Pride festivals all over American cities are revitalizing our community and cities.
