Garden in the jail

In Italy near Milan the dauther of one of the most famous architect (Vico Magistretti) Susanna Magistretti has estabilished a garden inside a prison.

Garden inside a jail. It is a project near Milan Italy. The project's aim is teaching to the prisoner a job and give them an opportunities to change their life. The garden is a cooperative and it has a breeding ground, educational garden, plants catalogue and shop. In the cooperative works prisoner and volunteers, everybody can attend course in educational garden and buy in the shop.
This is a perfect example that gardening is fantastic tool for revitalizing place!

Thank you for a tip and your comment Meena. I think taking care of garden it's quite close to project something. You plane what should be inside, how you can create, planning the grow timeschedule and implement all the year. And another good point that people fell useful and the place will be better place to live.
