Looks like they're doing a good job of promoting the area's assets in a way that's easily understandable & attractive to people.

For example, instead of just communicating, "cheap vacant houses/land", they've packaged different options tailored to suit different people's needs/preferences: $1 Homes (for those with the time, skill, resources, & desire to renovate & customize), Mixed Use Live/Work Houses (exterior pre-renovated, interior left for your customization, so you could live on the 2nd floor, and create a studio/gallery, restaurant, store, etc. on the 1st floor), Ready & Waiting (completely renovated for you to move in), New Construction Lots (ready for you to build from the ground up)., etc.
