This program not only promotes parks as sustainable units which reduce carbon foot prints but also organizes events which brings people together from all walks to participate. e.g.Shape up nyc classes and city wide summer festivals NYC parks become the hub of activity across the year. They hold events related to Arts & Crafts, Birding,  Concerts,  Education, Fitness, History, Kids, Nature, Tours, sports, conservation, volunteering and lots more.
