Piano Project Promoting Public Play

"Play Me, I'm Yours" is an internationally roving project that installs pianos around the world in public places, inviting people to stop and play or listen.

"Play Me, I'm Yours" is project that temporarily installs pianos around the world in public places, inviting people "to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment."

For each city, a website also encourages participants to share video, photos, and anecdotes to archive the experience. After the project finishes in each city, the pianos are then donated to local schools and community groups.

The project has reached over a million people globally using 400 pianos since it began in 2008. Any city can reach out to commission the work, and I know I appreciated experiencing it where I live!
