Vote Pools
Organise car/bus-pools to take people from communities to their voting stations. Additionally, use text messaging or microblogging to help organise these at short notice. Submitted by: Ramanand J
With Bar Codes, there are no two same ones. Every voter should get a ballot with a bar code.
So, everyone's vote will count, be registered and accurate.

During the Inspiration phase, I was struck by one thought: voting seems to be stressful for everyone, regardless of your abilities or needs. How can we help people relax on election day?

Who's who (Vote for your neighbor not the candidate.)
What if we ask people to vote for candidates based who they REALLY know. But we do our homework in terms of matching the candidates with those you know, and so on. Of course initial candidates have to meet some initial selection criteria.

National Voter Roll vs National Voting ID Card
Some inspirations have proposed changing or eliminating registration/pre-registraion but usually proposed some alternative like an existing National ID Card.
Undoubtedly it is necessary to identify voters and to establish their right to vote.

Mobile numbers as unique ID users
Mobiles could solve the 3 central “pains” of the challenge: (1) security, (2) convenience, (3) simplicity; but instead of using mobiles as polling tools, I would think of them as a unique ID user –after a rigorous validation process of course.

Polling day's every day. Vote WHEN YOU CAN & WHEN YOU WANT during any period of an election term.
A system that enables me to vote and also change my vote at any point in time during an election term. A system that contains a right to actively register a "no vote" to enable those who feel they are not served to express this and be recognised.

Telephone Voting
Apart from the innovative 'marble voting' used in Gambia, and the commonplace paper-based ballot, the next simple technology for voting is probably the telephone. As such it should be included in any mix of voting options.
