Airport Analogy
As I was reading about long lines, difficulty of access, lack of understanding, I could not help thinking of the experience of going through security in airports. When people with disabilities turn into public figures
To really consider accessibility as something essential, and not as an 'extra', we need to see people with disabilities just like people. So, I was wondering what could help to 'normalize' disabilities, when I remembered Petra.

Down with the Butterfly Ballot: Accessibility Starts with Making the Current Ballot Papers Readable
I cannot believe the horrible, error-prone, design of American Ballot Papers. Better readability would help all but especially those with vision issues.

Parkingfee machines
I thought it could be interesting to watch different types of Parking-fee- and vending machines. They are more and more designed with big colourful buttons and graphic symbols easily recognizable. And with lots of smart functions.

You can PARTICIPATE to the act of voting (putting a bullot in a poll) but it does not mean you did ACCESS to the real process of voting (choose a poll that is representing your priorities, vision, opinion..).
