Explore through Empathy
When designing for universal access, it’s important that we understand the needs of many kinds of people. What is the voting experience like for the elderly, people with disabilities or those who struggle with the local language? Or, perhaps more broadly, what’s it like to live with a disability?
You can explore this by sharing your own story or reaching out to someone you know and interviewing them (check out our interview kit to get started). You could also find stories, videos or clips that can help our community understand how daily life is impacted by disabilities or other cultural or language barriers.
