Doing something useful whilst waiting inline - Apple Stores

Apple Stores do a great job of enabling you to purchase something anywhere in the store using iPhones and iPads to process orders whilst roaming the store. They also do this whilst you're inline.
My first experience with this was whilst waiting inline at an Apple Store. I couldn't believe how obvious it was - I was asked 'anyone paying with a credit card?' I said yes. There were three people in front of me. What ways could we make the most of queuing at polling stations either to help those who are disabled, or help everyone to understand the process, candidate selections, or make the wait an opportunity not a chore.

Hey , i was thinking on similar lines, to help people 'stay tuned'. Like they could engage in any other activity, a small video, or any other information-say health checkup while waiting but at the same time keeping it simple and easy.

Nice one Nathan – and great analogous build on Birdie's post of his personal observations in the Philippines. I'm loving how our global community spark thoughts between each other!
