Educate Everyone
When it comes to elections, the more prepared, informed and educated we can all be, the better. This is especially true when it comes to helping people with disabilities and other limitations vote privately and independently.
How might we create tools, resources and opportunities to help everyone – from voters and poll workers, to election officials and caregivers – feel more prepared and informed around election accessibility?
What support materials might help poll workers and election officials who want to implement improved accessibility options at their polling place, but might not know where to start?
What low-tech and high-tech solutions can help voters with disabilities, language or literacy concerns, or other mobility issues learn about elections, the issues, and how to cast their ballot? Similarly, what peer-to-peer solutions might help educate voters with different needs?
