The idea of shared resources and experiences stems from the thought that education is not just about literacy or academic learning but also about developing critical thinking, behavioral, interactive skills and instilling a sense of belonging to the community. The children studying in the affordable private schools have limited or no access to the activities which engage in developing these skills. They also have very limited interaction with their more privileged counterparts. To bring about this interaction and to ensure that the APS children have access to resources other than academic learning, the project “SHARED RESOURCES and EXPERIENCES” is proposed.
