We are a team from NYU-POLY attending the course "Exploring The Creative Process" by Professor Anne Laure Fayard. We aim at working collaboratively, while we explore the creativity that lies within each of us.
"Discovery consists of looking at the same thing as everyone else and thinking something different." -- Albert Szent Gyorgi. We wish to look at things differently and help in making a difference.
We are SACK. Our Team consist of diverse backgrounds, cultures and have varying interests. Let's introduce ourselves to each other, and help other's know us better as well.
S-- I'm Sreshta. I'm from India. I have done my Under Graduation in Computer Science Engineering, but have always wanted to explore the creative side in me. I have had a penchant for, Design, Arts and Music which is why I decided to do my Masters in Digital Media. This is my 3rd semester at Poly, and I'm loving my course. I had courses like, Interaction Design, Human and Computer Interaction, CInema, ,3D Modeling,Sound,Media Organization which have all been a great experience. I'm looking forward to working with our amazing team.
I'm sure this will be fun. :)
A-- Hey I am Akshathaa. I am from India. My Under Graduation degree was in Civil Engineering. Now I am pursuing my Masters in Construction Management. I want to explore how creative i can get considering that I am not that creative. It was great working with the group previously and I am looking forward to working with the team yet again to take on the open ideo challenge.
C-- Heloo, I am Callum or 李澄 from China. I was taking finance as my undergraduate major a few years ago, and studying master of Management Science now. This is my last semester but am glad to taking this course about creativity. I know I don't have any talents to be a designer, but I'd like to think different. I do believe we will make difference with team power. Let's see what will happen here.
K-- My name's Kristin and I'm from New York. I'm in my undergraduate Senior year studying Business & Technology Management. I am an athlete so I am very regimented and do as I am told therefore I do not find myself very creative. I'm taking this graduate course with Professor Fayard in hope to unleash that unknown side of me. I cannot wait to see what my team and I can do for openIDEO and this new challenge.

Amnesty International & volunteers will travel through with their Adopt-a-Detainee Trailer to different locales to support families of the unlawfully detained.

We attended a workshop today, where we came across a project called, "Ghana ThinkTank".Projects like this one, could help in educating people about human rights and finding solutions to problems like unlawful detention.
