I am currently looking for a full-time position in Hong-Kong from Nov. the 1st, for a long-term period. I offer five years of business development and purchasing experiences in the industry of luxury.
As a Food and Beverage director assistant with the George V prestigious hotels group, I coordinated the management of restaurants and catering services in our hotels worldwide. In rapport with the local general manager, I pro actively got involved into twenty two projects, including ten effective outlets openings. I assisted with the recruitment and training processes, managed the mystery shopping activity and implemented budgets, sales and communication plans. After some months I was also promoted to procurement manager for all small equipment related to printing, bar and catering activities. Depending on Executives requirements, legal constraints, given artistic directions and budgets allocated, I sourced, negotiated and ordered the most suitable equipment. I was personally in charge of timely deliveries and payments of the suppliers as well. Maintaining our food and beverage quality and our standards of service worldwide was my main motto.
One year ago, I quitted this adventure to move to Copenhagen, Denmark, to assist a luxury leather goods company, as the Development Manager. I set-up coordination, financial and cost controlling strategies and tools. I sourced leather and bag accessories in France and Italy and influenced our stylist, original designer of Maison Goyard, in the realization of our collections. I entirely set-up the communication line and brand history. I implemented a press kit accordingly and got free press articles in renowned magazines and blogs. I managed photo shoots and proceeded with the website, flies, look-books and line-sheets. Enriched by these supports I sold door-to-door in Northern Europe and participated to international fashion fairs. I recruited and trained two people to assist the French office with administrative duties. From the very beginning I insisted on selecting exclusive and creative retailers, such as: Takashimaya and Isetan in Tokyo, Neiman Marcus and Henri Bendel in the USA, Le Bon Marché and Merci in Paris: the brand is now stick with an image of exclusivity and therefore much more valuable.
I have created my own company as well: a French wine bar/ bistrot in Copenhagen: Mimi Pinson. I negotiated the lease terms, recruited and trained waiters and bargain-hunted Danish design furniture, tableware and equipment. In between many other owner responsibilities, I dealt with communication, wine and food importation, tax and accounting issues.

I have therefore acquired a very skilled and polyvalent profile in terms of business development and day-to-day management ; and gained the capacity of building solid relationships with licensees, journalists, suppliers and customers. Today I would like to continue my growth in HK within another challenging corporation such as IDEO. I think I have the competence to successfully handle a management position with your company. I acquired proven ability to implement purchasing, communication, sales and business development strategies meeting customers needs and requirements.
I have excellent command of IT tools - Office, Photoshop. I am native French, fluent in English and Spanish, and I have good command of Mandarin. I am passionate about fashion, have a keen sense of service and the taste of perfection. I am curious and eager to learn. I also know how to prioritize job assignments and work independently. I am hard-working and I am constantly setting myself new goals.
