The Try-Brid Vehicle was created to encourage sustainable transportation solutions, to lessen dependence on the grid by challenging existing electricity usage patterns and to reinforce a healthy lifestyle. This is accomplished by modifying the ubiquitous bicycle to produce electricity by human power or wind power to reshape electricity usage patterns. The Try-Brid Vehicle is a concept that easily translates across the globe. In developed counties across Europe and Asia, the concept will take hold easily. Africa holds the greatest challenge and the greatest reward. A large percentage of Africa Countries are still developing nations. Sub Saharan Africa has an electricity access rate of 2% and this concept will stimulate development and job creation and reduce dependence on foreign aid and Non Governmental Organizations during fiscal stress. We also feel this could enable developing countries to “leap frog” dirtier less efficient fuel sources and propel them to a greener future.

The average home expends 75% of its total electricity usage on Phantom Power Loads, wasting 3/4 of our resources, ranking as a major contributor to green house gasses. Phantom Power Loads represents a staggering 11% of all electricity produced. I designed a concept product line called Green Lite to address this. Green Lite is the comprehensive solution to reducing Phantom Power Loads.
