Businesses, especially multinational enterprises, but also individuals with global social networks are willing, and very able, to take on many of the challenges that the Millennium Development Goals were set to tackle. Maybe better than national governments are. However, raising funds and volunteering across borders is sometimes very hard to do. We need to find a way to lift some of the barriers and encourage international action by both individuals and companies.

Prepare yourself with this question: How would I "rebuild the world" to be environmentally sound, crops to be plentiful, homes to be available, disease to be eradicated? It should come to no surprise that the issues we faced hundreds of years ago still exist today, considering we use a very traditional approach to dealing with them. Our efforts should be ever changing to meet the ever changing troubles we, as a species, have faced. My question to you is why haven't the worlds leaders given resource based economics a chance? Many forms of literature are available to anyone interested in making this a reality. Only looking through our proposal with an objective approach will you successfully collaborate into making this either (in your eyes) more realistic or more plausible. Be aware that over a half a million members of The Zeitgeist Movement are already up in arms to make this plan a reality. What say you?
